Some Truths From God's Word
1. Jesus Christ is God come in the Flesh, and those who teach otherwise are False Prophets! I John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. II Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2. Jesus Christ is the only Way to Heaven, and once we are saved, we are saved for Eternity, and our salvation is Secure! In John 10:9 Jesus himself said I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. And in John 10:27 He said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and my Father are one. The Bible also shows us here that we’ll know if we’re saved. 3. We must Hear the Word of God and by Faith Believe in order to be Saved! Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 4. God’s Spirit will not always strive (deal) with man Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: 5. Every man will have his last opportunity to be saved, and God only knows the time! Heb.4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, 6. Sudden destruction will come upon them Proverbs 29:1 He (sinner), that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. Psalms 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. 12 If he (sinner) turn not, he (God) will whet his sword; he (God) hath bent his bow, and made it ready. 13 He (God) hath also prepared for him (sinner) the instruments of death; he (God) ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. 14 Behold, he (sinner) travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. 15 He (sinner) made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. 16 His (sinner) mischief shall return upon his own head, 7. Every sinner that rejects Christ goes to a Christless eternity in Hell. Lu 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. On being saved there are three votes cast: 1. The devil wants you to be lost. By his very character Satan wants to take every man, woman, boy, or girl to Hell with him! He’ll drag you down the road of alcohol, and laugh at you when you can’t help yourself from being a drunken sot, he’ll drag you down the road of drugs, and when you’ve destroyed the mind and the family God gave you, you’ll lose that good job and friends who really care for you, all because the devil slipped you a fleshly tidbit which you were sure at the time you could handle, but it ruined your life before you knew it. He’ll drag you down the road of fulfilling the lusts of this flesh ..... sexual promiscuity and the lust for worldly things has taken untold numbers of men and women to an early grave without GOD. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The Devil is a liar, and the king of liars, his vote is that you be lost and cast into hell forever without remedy! 2. God wants you to be saved, 3. You cast the final deciding vote!! Jos 24:15 says “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; ” Nothing lasts forever, except Eternity, where will you spend it! |
